seats are designed for the hypothetical "average butt", and we don't know
many folks who have one. In addtion, the stock GL1200 seat offered
too little passenger space, and the passenger backrest was sloped too far
back for comfort. Our HI MILER seat offers a replacement passenger
backrest which yields 2 inches more seat room, and is placed at the proper
angle for long-distance riding. And we didn't forget the driver,
either. Both seats are scooped and angled for the individual customer's
dimensions, and are sculpted out of dual-density self-conforming foam which
distributes weight evenly, for hours and hours of fatigue-free riding comfort.
Our saddles are available with a built-in driver backrest which is adjustable up, down, forward, backward, and folds forward for easier passenger mounting. In preparation for your order, we'll ask you many of the same questions a fine tailor would ask. Driver and passenger height, weight and inseam are all incorporated into the total design of the perfect seat for you. We will also discuss any of your special needs or preferences at that time. |
