• Comfort on a motorcycle is difficult, but possible, with a properly designed custom-built seat.  Diamond Custom Seats are designed to distribute your weight over a larger area which allows the seat to give you as much support under your legs as possible. Distributing your weight helps to eliminate pressure and sore points.
• Height, weight and inseam are critical in the construction of a comfortable motorcycle seat. This information allows us to build a seat that fits you.
• Each foam is prepared specifically for each customer.  Changing density,  more dense for heavier or less dense for lighter people, does not by itself provide enough comfort. The shape, size and fit of each seat must also be changed for each individual. A tall, long-legged person needs more support under their legs than a shorter person.
• The Velour tops breathe, making them cooler and more comfortable.
• Passenger comfort can also be affected by the position of foot pegs, tour pak, carrier back rest, etc. Moving these items forward, backward, up or down is of tremendous value for ultimate satisfaction.
• Personal contact with many of our customers helps us immensely when creating your seat, to solve your individual needs and alleviate problems.
• The trunk should be moved back to allow for a longer seat on the 1980 through 1982 GL-1100 Interstate and the 1984 through 1987 GL-1200. This is also true for many other bikes. Since the GL-1500 Gold Wing trunk cannot be moved back and has a 2" shorter passenger seating area than the GL-1200 Gold Wing, we have designed a thinner passenger backrest for the GL-1500 to help give the passenger more room.
